Data Deletion

Marky gives you direct controls to delete information stored locally on your device.

1. Delete data in Marky

  1. Open Marky.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Open Data & privacy, then App Data.
  4. Choose the data you want to remove: Delete All Dog Profiles, Delete Walk History, Delete Health Records, or Delete All Data.
  5. Review the confirmation message carefully and confirm only if you want to continue.

Deletion may be permanent. Export anything you want to keep before deleting it.

2. What local-first means

Marky stores your dog-care data on your device by default. If information exists only on your device, Andrew Turley, operating as DaringDrew does not hold a separate cloud copy and cannot reach into your device to delete it for you.

Deleting through Marky’s App Data controls removes the selected local data from Marky’s storage on that device. Uninstalling Marky or clearing its app storage through device settings may also remove local data, but behavior can vary by operating system and device backup settings.

This page does not promise deletion from a cloud account because Marky does not currently represent that a cloud account system is active.

3. Request help deleting data

If you cannot access the app or need help understanding the controls, email support@markyapp.com with the subject Marky data deletion help.

Include your device type, operating-system version, Marky app version, and the category of data you want to remove. Do not email sensitive health records, precise location history, passwords, or other unnecessary personal information.

Email is the current support channel for privacy and deletion requests.

4. What happens after a help request

Andrew Turley, operating as DaringDrew will explain the available steps and, if it possesses information connected to a support interaction or future service, will handle a verified request as required by applicable law. A request cannot remotely erase data held only in your device’s local app storage.

Information that you previously exported or shared must be deleted from the destination where you sent it. Device or operating-system backups may follow separate retention and deletion rules controlled by that provider.
