Important limits

Legal Disclaimers

Marky is an organization and logging tool. These limits matter whenever you use care, location, voice, or safety features.

Effective date: July 17, 2026

1. Not veterinary advice

Marky is not a veterinarian. Marky does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatment, or replace professional veterinary care. Logs, summaries, reminders, reports, and other app content are for organization and reference only.

Ask a qualified veterinarian about medical symptoms, medications, diet, behavior changes, and care decisions.

2. Not an emergency service

Marky does not monitor emergencies and does not dispatch help. Do not rely on Marky to contact a veterinarian, emergency animal hospital, police, animal control, or another responder. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately.

3. GPS and location may be inaccurate

Routes, map markers, distances, times, and location points may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or inaccurate. Accuracy can be affected by buildings, trees, weather, device settings, battery optimization, weak signals, provider outages, and other conditions. Marky does not guarantee GPS accuracy, continuous tracking, or that a saved route is safe.

4. Voice recognition may misunderstand commands

Marky uses Google Assistant and “Hey Google” where supported. It does not use “Hey Marky” and does not always listen. Short follow-up listening starts only after you initiate a voice command flow.

Speech services may misunderstand names, times, care details, or commands. Review important logs and correct any errors. Marky does not support risky V1 voice actions such as deleting dogs or deleting walks.

5. Local Safety notes are personal and private

Local Safety notes help an owner remember loose dogs, hazards, traffic, wildlife, weather, or other moments. They are saved for the user, are not public alerts, and are not shared with nearby users unless a future sharing feature is added with clear notice and controls.

Local Safety notes and wildlife markers do not verify a report, provide real-time warnings, guarantee public safety, or guarantee that any location is safe or unsafe. Conditions change. Stay aware of your surroundings and use your own judgment.

6. Review your logs

Entries can be incomplete or wrong because of user input, voice recognition, GPS behavior, device conditions, or software errors. Review important logs before relying on them or sharing them with a veterinarian, caregiver, or anyone else.

7. Marky’s intended role

Marky is designed to help organize dog-care information. It can support memory and communication, but it cannot supervise a dog, assess a situation, guarantee delivery of reminders, or make care and safety decisions for you.
